District Three - Towns of Brunswick, Schaghticoke and Pittstown

Todd was elected in 2013 to serve as a County Legislator representing District 3 covering the Towns of Pittstown, Schaghticoke, and Brunswick in Rensselaer County.

As a lifelong resident in the Town of Pittstown, I can comfortably assure my community of our three Towns, my clear concerns for their future and wellbeing. As a proud husband to my wife Penny of 30 years, and proud father of our four children; Chelsea, Nicole, Zack, and Makenzie, it should be noted of my understanding of commitment and responsibility. Fiscal responsibility and accountability comes natural after 29 years as owner/operator of Tesmans Service Station in Speigletown. I am firmly rooted in my community by over 20 years past Board Member, volunteer, coach and coordinator for all levels of Boys Baseball in HVAA;  I've spent 14 years as volunteer,  Board Member, Vice President, and Coordinator of Rensselaer County SnowRiders;  I was elected to 3 terms as Hoosic Valley Board of Education Member, and ongoing strong supporter of most all programs for strong and safe communities. I am a registered Republican, Roman Catholic, and consider myself to be a common sense conservative that absolutely believes in individual responsibility, personal accountability, family values, the truth even when it's difficult,  and especially Constitutional Rights being non-negotiable.

While I have always been involved in many things I know to be valuable in our area, I feel compelled to do more. With the overwhelming burdens of rising  tax rates, disappearing business opportunity and mandated fiscal strains, hardships and challenging times have been felt by many including myself, my family, my business and my employees. I feel it's time to move forward and utilize my business experience, board and coordinator experience, and common sense nature to help steer our county and local government forward towards stability and growth. I feel it's now time to "demand" the attention of State Government and "demand" relief from burdens that are crippling our Counties, our small businesses,  and public school systems, ultimately falling on the backs of local taxpayers AGAIN.
